“The secret to good teaching is to regard the child’s intelligence as a fertile field in which seeds may be sown, to grow under the heat of flaming imagination.” – Maria Montessori

Ana Comer

Founder and Early Childhood Teacher

Hello! My name is Ana Comer I have been working with children for over 17 years. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to work in the field of education. I graduated in 2006 from a Federal University in Brazil with my degree in Education. While attending college, I fell in love with the Montessori Method. Shortly after my graduation, I started work at the United Nations Children’s Fund - UNICEF, specifically on the project EducAmazonia. During that time, I was also working with the Department of Education for my state in Brazil to improve public education in the Amazon.

In 2008 I met my beloved husband while he was working as a volunteer from the US at UNICEF in Brazil. We were married in 2010 and relocated to the United States. We have been happily married for 15 years and we have three children Amity 11, Cerys 8 and Zyon 7 years old.

After having my first child, my love for Montessori became more evident and I began to incorporate Montessori principles while educating my daughter at home. In 2015 I earned my Early Childhood Credential through The American Montessori Society (AMS) and loved to be able of teaching and guide young children following the unique Montessori Methodology. I have been working in the classroom for over 25 years and creating a heartfelt Montessori experience for my students and their families is incredibly rewarding. I feel truly blessed to be able to continue sharing my passion for Montessori by opening up my own school! Thank you to all the parents that has been encouraging and supporting me in this Journey, it became a beautiful reality.

My hobbies and interests include singing, cooking, organizing things, education, playing with my children, surfing Pinterest, , and being close to nature. I love traveling, especially to Brazil!
